His expertise is rooted in a robust academic background from Penn State University, where he earned both a BS (’87) and an MS (’89) in Aerospace Engineering specializing in Astronautics and Advanced Spacecraft Propulsion.
A hallmark of his professional career is his contribution to the global body of aerospace knowledge. He has authored 26 peer-reviewed technical papers published through prestigious professional organizations, demonstrating a mastery of technical writing and a disciplined adherence to the Scientific Method.
Beyond his professional life, he is now turning to a career as a writer while also focusing on diverse hobbies. He is an accomplished Astrophotographer and musician (drums and piano), and maintains a competitive edge on the golf course with a 6 handicap. He also volunteers as a Field Investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) where he investigates Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.
